More Photography Courses
We will be running other photography courses from Langdale. Please email me if you are interested.Course Aims and Ideals
My photography courses are as much about walking through, understanding and interpreting the landscape, prevailing light conditions and the changing seasons as they are about teaching photographic technique. I will talk about the overall philosophy behind my photography and imbibe something of the passion and flair that is required to produce images beyond the ordinary. I will talk about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the region and show you some of the special things that I know whilst at the same time covering specific aspects of photography. The aim is to have a good time whatever the location or prevailing weather, to enjoy the landscape, whilst at the same time covering the essential elements of photography. Photographically I will help you get the best possible results from your equipment and at the end of the course we will be looking for a definite progression in both technique and results.
Groups will be relatively small and throughout our trips through the countryside I will be talking to the group as a whole and addressing the needs of individuals. Days will be flexible and adapted to suit individual performance and prevailing weather conditions. Opportunity will be offered to photograph at the best times of the day, early morning or in the evening.
Individuals must bring their own camera equipment and preferably this should be digital to allow evening critique and appraisal whilst viewing on the laptop or through digital projection.
So let’s go – book early to avoid disappointment.
